Lightbulb New Member from Desert Hot Springs CA

Greetings
Just a few words to introduce myself. Today I purchased a 2006 Safari SE Fbr 25' with solar panels. My wife and I live in Desert Hot Springs CA and you may have guessed by my member name I'm into Ham Radio. I volunteer for RACES in the capacity of operating the EOC communications center in Desert Regional Hospital. My wife happens to be an RN there. I'm a green carded Canadian that has recently moved to the desert fulltime. Hope to get to know other Ham's on this forum. RSVP if you are Ham. My callsign is VE7REZ. So 73's this should do for now!...Pete

welcome

Hi Pete,
We camped in Desert Hot Springs a couple of weeks ago on our trek home to AZ with our new AS, from Paso Robles, CA. We stayed at Sam's Family Rv. dumpy little place would not recommend to fellow travelers.. Woodall's gave it 4 diamonds (ha) anyhow. My daughter was amazed at all of the giant windmills in your home town very cool. Welcome to the forum and happy Airstreamin'
AZstreamin.
