Fuse panel pics

Hello, we finally got the Overlander home! I will post some pics soon in my introductory thread.

I'm starting to fix little things as we get it cleaned out. It looks like it has the original fuse panel, but maybe the Univolt has been replaced, or at least the inverter does to say Univolt on it? Anyway, the previous owner had disconnected the battery wires from the fuse panel for some reason. I can see where the white negative wire is supposed to go, but I am not 100% sure on the positive lead, and want to ask before I mess it up.

Would someone mind taking a close up pic of their stock wiring fuse panel for me? Also, if you have an idea of what the major wires are, feel free to share that as well. To me it looks like there is at least one blue and one red wire coming from the inverter, and possibly the other blue is from the charging circuit from the tow vehicle?

Thanks!!

Thanks for posting, but that is completely different than the 66.

Still looking for shots of a 66 panel if someone doesn't mind.

'66 Safari Fuse Panel

Here's a shot of the fuse panel in our '66 Safari. Can't claim to be an expert, so I may not be able to answer your questions.

The switch on the left side of the panel has been added to the original system. It provides a way to shut off battery power to everything when the trailer is in storage. Otherwise, I think the panel is original.

Glad I could be some help.

I wondered about the switch. That is a good idea. I was also thinking about adding a battery disconnect as well.

The 40-amp glass fuses are not easy to find. I went to the local aircraft supply house and they had a few. Of course, I bought them all. That was 3 or 4 years ago.

You can find 40 amp fuses on the Internet. Some car stereo shops have them as well.
