After Inland stopped answering my emails (they don't take phone calls) I went to a machine shop. The first one they made was too small. The second try was 2.745 which was little big. I sanded on it and put it on dry ice then beat the heck out of it. I think it's seated
The new one, the old one and the wrong one.
May never come out again. It it does, I'll work it down another couple thousands and try again. Stainless steel don't give much. Would have been better to heat the drum and freeze the cap, but then all the grease would melt. Was less to have one make then the cost plus postage to get the wrong one from Inland.
Now to clean the wheel up and put it back together.
Time to go fuel up and take a trip.
