Open site
Ed and Kathy, site #34, will not be able to make it. They would like another airstreamer to have their site. It is 3 nights...Thurs, Fri, Sat, 71.07.
I think the waiting list has been covered. If you know of anyone looking for a site, send them my way and I will pass along the details, or you can reach out to econrad110.
The Park prefers we just handle any transfers amongst ourselves, so there is no issue with the park at all, just exchange the coins and come on. Do let us know so we can correct our list.
Patricia, the lady on the phone many of you have spoken with, was nice enough to call me today to tell me a site had come open. How's that for great service!!! The open site was taken quickly by another streamer.
When you check in, please tell her what a great job she has done for us.
Good night.
John

the possum is out of the bag
Andrea, guess it's time to fess up and calm quite a few fears........
the possum bog is actually chicken bog, a pot full of chicken, smoked sausage, pork sausage, rice, celery, carrots, onions. A bog is generally thicker than a stew, or soup, hence the name "bog". A low country staple, very tasty.
Several years ago we had fun calling it a possum bog, and the name sort of stuck. Not ready to call the rally "Possarama" though.
Now, everyone can rest easy and enjoy some possum bog.

if you need a site, there is one open. Send me a PM and I will fill you in. There is not much time left before it will need to be cancelled, so don't wait too long.

Here are some other tasty side dishes that might be there: Catfish and apricot-gumbo soup; Possum shanks; Possum Dip, Critter Corn Fritters, Tater Pie, Pickled hog jowls, Gizzards smothered in gristle, Smoked crawdads, Southern-fried muskrat, Goat tripe and Corncob Jelly, Stewed squirrel and Ham hocks and turnip greens. Now that's eatin'.

Eddie and Kathy won't be able to check emails for the next several days so I suggest you PM John (sandpaper) if you are interested in Eddie and Kathy's site.
Thanks.

Oops!
Please don't contact "sandpaper". John's correct Airforums name is "sandlapper".
Got to figure out how to disable auto-correct.

Sandpaper or Sandlapper?
Given John's woodworking talents, he probably won't take offense to being called "sandpaper".

OK folks, don't forget, I KNOW WHERE YOU LIVE for the next several days!!!!!! Best not leave any outside hatches open, I have a couple extra live possums to turn loose.
Just got back from a run to Camping World of Spartanburg. They came thru with several nice door prizes, to go along with the ones from Airstream, Out of Doors Mart, and LED4RV.
Hookin' up tomorrow.

Going once, going twice.....
.....gone. Site 34 goes to Pagey and Beetlebob.
Patience paid off, now you have your own space.
Sunnygirl will get you the details on how to square with Eddie and Kathy.

Edna's got the boats, firewood, Thor, tables and tents loaded, but the day is still young. What should I have her work on next?
