Ok friends here it is, the date for our Spring gathering. It is based on site avaliabilities and local fishing tournaments on the lake.
Remember, this is a popular park with local fishermen, boaters, and campers and often fills on the weekends. So don't wait too long to reserve. You can call the Park directly at 803.482.6401 or use Reserve America on line. You can always cancel or move you reservation once if it doesn't work out. Power, water, dump station - about $22/nite.
Last March we had 35 rigs attend, this year maybe 50??!!
If you call the Park directly, tell them you are with the Airstream group. They are a very friendly, helpful staff that like Airstreams and will enjoy knowing you are with the group.
We will develop the details later but here is a sneek peek:
THURSDAY Hot dog feast for the early arrivals. Get a jump on things.
FRIDAY Wouldn't be Alumalina without some Possum Bog
SATURDAY Back by popular demand, my good friend Charles "the fish
man" to cook up delicious fried fish w/ all the fixin's.
SUNDAY Fried pye.
Plus a special appearance by Rita on Saturday
If you have never attended one of our gatherings, come see why "nothing could be finer than to be in Carolina". The Park is awesome, the people outstanding, and the conversation excellant.
As always, seminars, open house, and a darn good time.

We're in 17, coming in on Wednesday.

I'm going to put this on our calendar. I'm truly hoping we can be there. My goal right now is to be travel ready by July 4th, and even that may be a pipe dream. Hope to be pulling the '57 behind us!

Well alrighty now , we're off and running. Good to hear from you folks. With our crowd and the usual Wateree crowd, the park will very likely fill up. You can check the site availability by looking online under Lake Wateree State Park. They show a picture of the site with a description.
They are all good sites, the water fronts usually go first.. We will once again set up the tents in the big open area in the middle, convenient for everyone.
We also want to expand the dutch oven cooking. Gary will coordinate, more details to come.
Denise, no pressure, but we sure would like to see your '57. It will look awesome parked there among the trees.
