The 1500 chevy crewcab TV gets standard 87 octane gas, that may or may not have up to 10% ethanol here in BC. I notice seasonal variance in reported fuel economy, but given the price difference between 87 and 91 octane fuel, I have not tested if there is a difference between the ethanol additive or not.
For all my small engines - snowmobile, generators and all my small 2-stroke equipment, I put the ethanol-free 91 octane fuel into the jerrycan and add seafoam fuel stabilizer. I drain the tanks on the small 2-stokes when not in use for a month or more, and drain the carbs on the generators and top up the tanks. Never had a maintenance issue with any of my engines due to fuel issues. Friends that use 87 octane with 10% ethanol seem to have more engine issues with their sleds and chainsaws. The honda generators, as long as the carbs are emptied for storage, don't seem to care which octane or blend of gas is used.

It was just on the Bloomberg feed that the President is pushing for a B15 mandate to help the agriculture segment.

Non Ethanol for power & better mileage

I only use non-ethanol in all my boats and small engines and have never had problems with performance or carb jet clogs. I recently began feeding my Dodge 5.9L gasser with non-ethanol. Wound up getting 2 to 2.5 more miles per gallon and better uphill performance when pulling heavy trailers.
Basic physics, gas has more BTU/gallon than ethanol.

Oh, and have you ever wondered who checks to make sure the E10 pump has no more than 10%ethanol? You buy what they pump at the fuel depot, quality control is not on their checklist

Ethanol has been in gasoline since the early 1970’s....about the time the carburetor kits started using the viton tipped needle...

I was at the truck stop where I purchase my gasoline. I previously had a E-85 Flex Fuel vehicle and used the fuel. There on the pump was the ethanol handle in yellow, with the sign above the dispenser:

"ETHANOL FUEL ONLY-51%-83%"

When I asked inside why the ethanol-gasoline blend could be more than 15%, I was told the standard changed possibly due to more gas/electrics becoming available.

Have you tried pure gas in a motorcycle?

I had a Honda VTX1300 trike which I had only used gas/ethanol in because I didn't see pure gas offered. When I found pure gas I tried 87 octane pure gas and it made a HUGE difference in power and the smoothness of the engine IMMEDIATELY. I was hooked!
I own an E450 class C now which I would like to try pure gas in, but when you have to try to eek 10 MPG out of the V10, I'm not sure the 60 cents per gallon difference would be worth it.

Actually, it might be worth it. Where I live, 90 octane non ethanol gas is only 40cents per gallon more - about 15% more than 87 octane E-10.
If your 10mpg RV or TV goes up to 11.5mpg and you gain engine power, your credit card will never see a difference at the pump.

I also noticed my exhaust quit dripping lots of water since I stopped using e--10

I have never seen it more than 25 cents more here.

I spent a year and a half alternating, one month each, between " clear gas" and gas with "corn syrup". I kept track of every mile and every gallon. For my Toyota T100 with a 3.4 six cylinder engine the "magic number" is 16%. I averaged 16% better mileage through differing seasons and conditions. So....... when the cost difference between the clear gas and that with corn syrup is 16% or less I use the clear gas.

I quit guessing and did the math.

Question

We have an ethanol free station one mile away. Consequently or not we're use it in my Suburban 8.1 and princesses, (this dictation thing is really cool) continuing. In the deer wipes GOK 350 MBA. Haven't really noticed any difference and the mileages I neither one of the vehicles.
On a trip to New Bedford Massachusetts relentlessly with the suburban had the opportunity to use both E free into your gasoline. Not tooling, we got 12.9 and 13.2 res respective Lee, you can figure out which is which. Either way it didn't really make much difference. I guess I'm just no school but I prefer to use the eastern all free pretzel in all my Gossling Power equipment.

This was factual early oh very fun post.... Send hosiery. 👍😂
