That’s a dream rig if I’ve ever seen one. Very cool!

Haha, GettinAway, Dont we wish Fl had coasts like that.

That pic was taken in north Ca. On my way up to Oregon and Washington on a great summer trip a couple of years ago. That trip included a ten days stay in Laguna Seca for Montery car week, outstanding car guy adventure.

I was based in northern Az for a few years and traveled all over the west. Especially enjoyed trips in Colo. Fun driving roads there in the mountains!

Thanks Jim, for the kind words. The rig is quite the conversation starter when ever I stop along the way. I'm very happy with the combo, and try not to over share here. 😃

Cheers Richard

Taco Joe: do you have any issues with the front bike mount covering the headlights during night driving? The reason I ask is we have e-bikes and would like to mount them on a front hitch.

I've had a few through the years.

Currently have a 1966 Overlander, 1956 Safari FK, 1962 Galaxie, 1968 Travelall and 1988 Suburban. Sold the 1966 Safari some years ago to a friend. Depending on the event and distance, will connect accordingly. If it's a long haul and time is an issue, an Excursion 7.3 will be used to tow.

Touareg diesel with 2019 AS25RBT

Ready to roll! Just returned to NC from Can Am where Andy and crew fixed me up. Took half a day for the upfit and I got to visit Niagara Falls on Canadian side. Four day round trip 1900 miles.

Fantastic! Looks great. We tow our new GT with an F250 as well. It is great through the mountains with the auto engine brake, tow haul and the cruise control. Wonderful experience.

I should try and dig up a picture.

This is our Combo. 2018 Globetrotter and GMC Sierra 2500HD Duramax. Recently returned from a 5 week trip out west to New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, Arizona. TV and TT handled all the Rocky Mountain grades flawlessly.

This pic was taken at a Harvest Host location in Arkansas on our way from East to West.
