I just wanted to let you know that my Jan. order slots are filling up fast, and my number is 904-537-2203 if you have any questions you want to discuss.-Matt

Okay, so the Honey is in reference to your apholstery. The woodwork is Landmark laminate, which is good news because I have easy access to that. Are you sticking with the 34"?
  4. Apexbasher
I did some figuring overnight and adding the 2" to make them 36" will add $50 to the price as this is a custumization that breaks up the batches that I build these in. I hope you understand.

Keep me posted. I build these as orders come in. BTW, what is your model/year/finish?

Hi there. Thanks for your interest. Yes, these are designed for a 34" mattress. Adding two inches isn't really an issue, if it's needed. I have not done a Classic yet, though there is a guy who found my posting on Facebook (Airstream Addicts group) that mentioned his Classic has powered bed platforms, for reading and such, and could I make it work with that. He never mentioned 36" width though. (Hmmm.) Anyway, If you plan on coming out to this area I can make you the one piece set that I think is a better unit (It's what I have in MY Airstream). Saves you $250 in shipping as well. Let me know what you want as far as finish and I'll see what can be done.

Having just purchased a 33' AS Classic and a 2018 Ford 250 diesel, I too am curious as to which axle ratio gypsydad chose. Currently I have the 3.31 on the order having figured the diesel will still have more than enough torque to pull the trailer most anywhere. The 3.55 seemed unnecessary overkill with a serious mpg disadvantage on the highway. Am I wrong? I can still change it as the build date had not yet been scheduled. Thanks for any advice and Happy New Year!

Some say "enjoy the journey"; easy to do when you bring your AS!
