Trying out a new name this week...PIXIE.

Tried combining our dog’s names (Dax and Trixie...Trixie passed away this past July), and that became DIXIE. But then that morphed into PIXIE.

Will see if it sticks!

For me it was easy. I've never in my life named an inanimate object (except for a teddy bear when I was 4!), so no need to start now.

So you wouldn’t name your 30’ cruise boat, or sailboat?

I can't resist telling on myself.. I have a powerboat I've had since I bought it in 1984 and have never suffered the problem with boats that seem to be the bane of others.... I still love it and it's never been an expensive "hole in the water".... I also love sailing...but can't afford the schooner I truly want... so I'm still puttering around in my powerboat... but I painted it's name on the stern....
....
"For Sail"

At times I call my Airstream the Rocket, and/or the UFO.

We just purchased our very first AS, a 22’ Sport and already we know we will be upgrading in a few years! But it’s fun and it’s getting us out on the weekends. We named her Buttercup after one of our family’s favorite childhood movies, The Princess Bride. Princess Buttercup is easy to tow and right now, just enough room.

We are waiting for our first Airstream (2019 22 Sport) and we were going to name it Firefly as well. My husband even ordered a "I aim to misbehave" decal for the back window of his Ford F150. It was along those lines that I came up with a username for these forums and thought hmmmm... that might actually be a good name for the Airstream!

I think Miss Bee Haven has a nice ring to it. Or we might completely change our minds when we get it.

"The Mistress", or just "Mistress" as I spend far more time and money on her than I do my wife. She also saw more of me one season than my wife did, as I gutted the interior, laid new subfloor, flooring and built new interior cabinets; along with a myriad of other things.

Cheers

Our 8 year old named our 25 flying cloud Arvia.
I thought was quite ingenious for a kid to come up with that!

Tin Foil Hat

My husband and daughter poke fun at me when I fall for the hook - I had our WBCCI paperwork sent in before we got an invitation from International. I’ve wanted one of these since I was a little girl, after seeing Charles Kuralt’s piece about, I think, a rally in Florida. The name fits.

Having owned a number of boats, this was easy.
I named my first 23D "AL", which is the symbol for aluminum on the periodic table.
Now with my new 25 FB, it has the handle of "AL Deaux", as it is the second one.
I also named my second F-150 "Hank II"

I was listening to the radio a few days after picking up our 1969 Airstream that I will be starting a full renovation on next year and this song by the Rolling Stones is playing. The words were - Where will you take us from here. The name of the song was Angie and just like that our Airstream was named.

Ours is "Live, Laugh, Love".

My wonderful wife was in hospital for back surgery, and other issues with her Congestive Heart Failure. A long and hard story of disability, but with a positive outcome: A gifted nurse helped so much with attitude and outlook.

It was from this point that we committed ourselves to living, loving, and laughing... together.

We decided together that we will have NO regrets.
