The new Airstream building!

Here are several images of the new Airstream factory being built just outside the city limits. They just finished poring more concrete inside.

I'm interested.

I just asked about this on another post (which I can't find).

Thanks for showing it. We were there last June and they mentioned it but I thought we would have seen something back then. Didn't.

They said the MB driving version line will move over to the current building. The MB line building was the original building that Wally started in in Jackson Center...its small...but a straight line in and out.

Turk, thanks for posting current photos! We were there in April and they didn’t have the roof and all the walls up. Looks like its really taking shape.

You can dress up a pig in fancy clothes . . .

What are the chances that quality control will actually improve during this move?

Had to be said IMO.

Zero! Chance of quality improvements.
Nothing done about rotted floors and leaks for many decades.
More bells and whistles to complicate things.
How 'bout building a simple camper that has ease of maintenance in mind. Easy access to those items that require attention.

We have taken a tour in the existing factory and look forward to touring the new one as well.

I love seeing things made and love seeing people working together as a team.
