Solar unit 1 completed!

Finally got it ready to go. The plugin ports are wired on each side of the battery box and I am done with one of three solar units. It is the battery maintainer. I plan on strapping it onto the tilting window cover when in storage. from what I understand, I can store it under a mattress when traveling.

Replacing the shower head with a new one that has an on/off switch on the handle. It also has a 6' hose. This will conserve hot water during shower time. And provide a little more hose.

A few things, namely these two fantastic items.

MAGMA stackable stainless steel made in the USA cookware. This is going to save a ton of space!

And Armadillo RV hose, two 10ft sections - it's made from aluminum, incredibly light weight and durable, does not kink. Recommended by another Airstreamer at VA Highland Haven Airstream Park. Excellent product, made in the USA any size or configuration you want.

Hi, I'll have to check out that hose; Every hose that I buy for home use is supposed to be kink free. I guess that means that the kinks in the hose cost me nothing, because they all have kinked on me.

The only way that would be possible with these is to put them in a vise and smash them, or run it over with a tire. If you want a better analog, compare it to the show hose in the Airstream.

I just got the Drumi by Yirego. It is a foot powered clothes washer that uses about 2.6-gal to wash 5 lbs of clothes in about 5 min. You use 1.3 gal to wash, drain, then 1.3 gal to rinse. I figured this would be good since we rarely have enough clothes for a full load when we go on trips. Now just need to figure out how to dry the clothes without looking like a dry cleaners.

I got the peel an stick RGB led light strips that come with a remote that controlled everything from light color to fades strobes and brightness it can even save custom colors you blend yourself. I attached it to the center crown detail that runs along my ceiling. I drew power off of the front overhead light turned out great. Here are some pictures.Click image for larger version

Cool! How much? And would a salad spinner work as a (pre-)dryer? 😃

It was about $145. I do not know but will try it as soon as it arrives. Too bad there is not a hole to attach a blow dryer.
