JUST to bad it is Calif. with hight gas $3.85 today at Costco that is 50+ cents a gallon more than Costco at home and all the other dumb Calif. laws you have to live with.Between the NSA,IRS and Wash.DC,and Calif wanting my guns makes you think where the HELL we going.Next they will want my RED NECK.

But I guess that since it is what it is this 78 year old will keep on working where no will.

Jim, Gail and I (from Riverside, CA) are here in Huron, SD at the International to get away from the heat in CA. Good to hear you are enjoying CA and retirement!!

Thought of you because there are 2 Squarestreams here in the vintage section, one being an Argosy. Hope to see them at today's openhouse.

Well just got my new portrait for my avatar I looks just so good.

it was a hot day again today 107.

Sometimes we have summer all winter and winter all summer,but regulararly we have no rain.

Friday we got are 35 amp RV outlet in now allI need is a longer cord I hope to have it on Monday so I can run my AC and be cool.

Running out of cold beer.

Well I got my new Power Grip 30 amp extension cord to run my AC full blast sure is nice now.

BUT would you beleave that on the tag that was on the cord there is a Califonia Warnig " This product contains chemicals including lead,known to the Sate of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.Wash hands after use."

Now are folks in California that put this propsition on all kind of products realy smarter than the folks in the other 49 States? I don't thinks so.Its almost like the horse stopped with a jerk--and the jerk fell off.BUT maybe the other 49 States are cover up something.You know you can trust the Government,just ask any Indian.

We all got pieces of crazy in us,some bigger pieces than others.HELLO California.

Well it has been hot here.How is it.
So hot it took me two to blow a cup of coffee cool.
Hot enough to wither a fence post.
Hottern a burned boot.
Hottern than hell with a blower on.
So hot we had to feed the chickins cracked ice to keep'em from layin hard boild eggs.

Well butter my butt and call me biscut I will be off line for the next few weeks because I gotta go back to the old homestead to see a man about my cancer.Don't worry--I've been in tighter spots than this and if duct tape can't fix it,it aint broke.

Well Im back and so is my cancer so we will start treatment again on 6 Sept.BUT progress can sometimes be a hamorrhoid to Mother Nature.

All you GM truck folks watch the TV for a new GM truck commercial you will see one of our C-130s in them.It should start running soon.

Well here I am boondocking under the pepper tree.I am the only one around at this end of the airport this long weekend.Just me and my dog Lucy.

At the other end of the airport are the two DC-10 supper tankers that are working the Rim fire up by Yosemite.

BUT like all good Government run things they did not fly one flight yesterday,and why no one this far down the food chain knows.BUT the fire still goes on.All the area in this part of the valley is under a health warrning because of the smoke.Again the government hard at work.Not that much smoke here,can still see 30 miles or more.

Maybe the NSA spy's can tell us after they read this.

Also this Sunday the Castle Air Museum as open cockpit day where you can go inside some of the aircraft.They do this on Memorial Day and Labor Day.

POOR IS HAVING TO SELL YOUR HORSE TO BUY THE SADDLE

We just moved this old DC-9 from AZ to our base here at Castle Airport for the Castle Air Museum.All most as nice as a Airstream

It was part of the fleet of aircraft used by the President and other important government folks..

I have been told that Presidents Reagan,Bush,Clinton,and Bush used this at times when the B-747 was to big.

Glad you like the thread.

I do have fun working after 61 year of working at 14 jobs it is a good life.BUT at 79 I am starting to slow down, it is nice that some one still wants me to work for them.

This work is nice because of all the different jobs we do with the R & D C-130.I have photos that would be nice to post but our customers don't want their competitors to see how they do things.
