Jimmini are both doing well and look great. We all had a great dinner on Friday night with marshmallows over a fire to top it off. Kids kept talking about getting eaten by bears, I guess I better change their bedtime stories to something more friendly

Stopped at Pecos Park in Chandler on the way home for lunch and let the kids run around a bit. That is a great facility for folks in that area.
Hey Eric,

We saw you on Pecos Rd Yesterday. We were trying to figure out who in the world would be driving a triple axle trailer down Pecos Rd. Now we know. I did not realize it was you since you were using your Suburban. I should have turned around and chased you down. You were right in our neighborhood. Pecos Park is about 1.5 miles from our house.

We hope you, Renee and the kids had a nice time on the Rim.

You should have, we would have enjoyed seeing you guys to catch up a bit. Turns out towing a triple axle trailer in the Pecos Park parking lot is not for the faint of heart but we managed. I was reminding myself of the difference between diesel and gas tow vehicles, boy did I forget how much I *love* climbing mountains at 30mph with my hazards on for MILES and MILES.

Hi Jimmini;

Good to see you back on the forums. We spent a week at Roosevelt Dam with Mike and Sherri last March. Had a great time. Guess we won't see you this winter in Q. Hope you can find a few days to pull the squarestream over for a visit.
Cold and wet here in Bancroft. We expect to be on the road heading south by Nov. 5th.

Hi CK,

Jimmini is out of reach of an RF signal for internet. He may or may not be back on in a few weeks when the season is up, that is up to him. The rest of us have simply hijacked the thread. I posted here because that is who we visited and thought I would share that they are doing well.

OK I'm back. Sheri and I are in Cottonwood on BLM land just off of the 260 on Thousand trails rd. Its a 14 day free area and we are waiting for the big party this weekend. There are quite a few rigs here including a 34ftr with a slide. The owners are from Poland and have been full timeing for 10 years. Jimmie is in Ca. and I'm told he has a computer with him. He must be too busy for us everyday folks. Serg, I hope you feel better this morning, poor boy. Since we are out of the woods we are making solar like crazy. No more generator noise Jan.. See you all in a few days........Mike

Well, I really hate to admit it but we got our calendar dates all skrewed up and spent this past long weekend at Distant Drums. When we got there, they couldn't find our reservation and that's when we found out we were too early. We couldn't change our work schedules so we stayed. Mike - wish we had known you guys were in Cottonwood because we spent a day there just hanging out and going through the stores and eateries. It would have been great to connect with you guys again. I'm going to try and come up for the day on Saturday so just let me know where you'll be. The all you can eat fish fry on Friday night at the casino wasn't half bad.

If it's almost Tuesday, we must be almost in Tucson...headed out to Marana or Picacho tomorrow...haven't decided...should roll in to CV on Thurs, and DD on Friday...gotta drop the toad at Richard and Jan's(and count their silver), then make that 10-20 mph scream over 17...

Hi Jimmy;

Good to see you can still throw a hammer and turn a wrench, or are you just the supervisor? Will miss you in Quartzsite this year.
We are in Savannah, moving slowly south, then turning west after December 18th. Expect to touchdown in Q towards the end of January and spend time with the gang.
Enjoy California.

Hey Jim,
We hope you are doing well.... be sure to tell Min to let us know if she needs anything here. Any good RV Parks nearby just in case we need to get away?

There is a RV park right here on the Castle Airport.I think it is $25 per night with hook up's and $15 dry. It is run by the airplane museum.
Here is one of the C-130 Prop's I am working on right now.I am the only person in this hanger.Kind of like Mogollon campground I am all by my self.Even my dog Lucy would not come.

Customers DC-4 at hanger.This aircraft used to spray oil spills.
Is this boondocking? I guess it is since for 58 years I have been working on aircraft in the BOONDOCKS all over the world.Just that this old fire hores cant stop running.Still like it better than camp hoasting.

I thought you had a big trailer but it doesn't look so big next to that hanger. Isn't there room for you to park it inside?

I vote for Hangerdocking.

Thay are going to start to rebuild the inside of the hanger next week,so I parked where I would not have to move and the contracter would not drop something on it.
