Alzheimers Disease

I've read that using aluminum cookware might contribute to getting alzheimers disease. What risk might there be living in aluminum?
Are we doomed?

Having dealt with two Alzheimers patients I do not fell aluminum had much to do with it, but who knows. MY mother and father-in-law both passed away from Alzheimers, their life styles could not of been more diffrent. Alzheimers leaves a shell of a person then attacks the shell. If you are truly concerned about any type of connection between aluminum and Alzheimers avoid aluminum cookware, I use stainless steel and cast iron, I don't like the way aluminum cooks. Look at it this way if you fall victim to Alzheimers you won't remember anything about your trailer and you will always be making new friends.

Tom, Just don't lick or chew on the side or your Airstream.

Aluminum self passivates with a layer of cerramic oxide, so unless you are working it some how I wouldn't worry. "Your milage may vary".

Aluminum causing Alzheimers has been pretty well debunked.

Strange factoid
I recall once reading many years back that even certain location around the world had higher incidents of Alzheimer's than others..One of the locations I recall listed was Guam, for example..
Whew, I am truly glad to put that one to rest~!
