Rivet IF this is a Disease I like it!

From morning till night I like to think About my Airstream .
I've worked 7 days a week now for the past year (at my own business)and I still love to find the time to work on it.

It gives me an endless source of satisfaction to look at it , and the dreams I have of travel are always there even if I don't have the time right now.

Instead of tv I am here at 8:30 PM and my screensaver is a picture of my Airstream
I guess it is an obsession or disease , but I really do not want to be cured.

btw: my wife likes Airstreams too, so I am lucky

What makes you happy about life with an Airstream in the drive?

It’s also contagious!

Each year we try and take a nice vacation using our A/S. After the vacation is over, we start thinking about the next year, where we will go, what we will do. Before you know it, its time to go again.

We don't have a lot of time to get away but when we do we enjoy it a lot.

You are not alone

RichardT,
You are not alone! I too take great satisfaction and a great amount of relief from my business (three years and only now do I leave before 7:30PM) by owning, working on and sometimes just looking at my AS MH.

Airstreams on the PC at work, on the PC at home, even my cell phone is named Airstream. I'm a little over the edge...and my family and friends remind me of it all the time.

If I didn't find this forum I'd be looking for a twelve step program for this disease. But after all as far as hobbies, obessions, addictions go I don't think you could find a better one.

At least now when I'm working I'm dreaming of something other than working! It's done wonders for my mental health and camping trips are great to leave everything behind and just hang out with the family. What could be better than that?

I go between pinball machines, jukeboxes, cars, the Airstream....but I will say that I've participated on few forums for them except for cars.....the Airstream is kind of in a class of it's own.....

GO CUBBIES!
