Well here's our little peanut! Mother and baby are doing famously, and Grandma is recovering nicely. Thanks again for all your good wishes.

Hey, if you make your debut are you a debutante?

Now would you have meant.... a young woman making a debut into society. if so - sorry I could not possibly class myself 1. a YOUNG woman cause I am beyond young and 2. I think the word society and "lady" might have a bit of emphasis with that sociel event - somewhat like the "Teen Queen" and by far I am no socialite with any social graces whatsoever .....
Now if you meant the other....
debutant - a person who makes a debut into a professional career or before the public.
NOPE.... that will never happen either - don't do live performances - that would simply put me in my grave far too early.
I compose and play in complete solitude. And the result is what I can share with family and friends If they stand to listen . There are plenty of avenues to listen without having to see me swoon and weave at the piano
I have a weird gift that leaves as quickly as it comes. The music is there one moment and gone the next. I have no sheet music to play from and there is no playing by ear. I just hear the melodies in my head and I play what I am inspired to play and compose at a given moment in time. I do not write music either so I would have to say I am a digital composer if there is such a thing. When I work on pieces other than solo piano I seem to hear it all first and piece the puzzle together. Many of the instruments are digitally mastered from playing at the roland. I do use the Apple loops for the percussion and drums. Don't think Peter would appreciate me getting a set of digital drums in the house as well tee hee. Although I am always picking up sticks and banging on things....
I know nothing of the music industry, nor of recording music. Other than through my simple midi system. I know nothing of the technical issues of music such as key and timing - and yet I produce music that is of a wide range of listening pleasure.
Confession of a confussed muscisian......
And again Carol you are far too kind with your words...

Nice Thread!
Hi All,
I don't post very often on The Forums and just stumbled on this thread. I've been encouraging women of all ages and marital status to learn how to tow on their own since I started with my first Airstream in 2001. I pulled my varies trailers all over the country on my own for five years until I met my husband at the International in Salem! I'm trying to keep some of my independance by insisting on sharing the "wealth" when we head out with one of our "shared" five Airstreams!
I have LOTS of stories about traveling as a single female on the road!

"...I have LOTS of stories about traveling as a single female on the road!"
Hello, Patti, and we're all ears. Nothing we like so well as a good "She can tow it!" tale The fire is blazing, there's always room as we scootch around to make space for another Silver Sister, and as you've read from the thread above, the eats and drinks are to die for! So, you were starting to say... ~G

Welcome Patty! Yes please tell us some. Let's get the fire going and move in closer... Here G., here's the stir stick.
But hey you didn't lose any of your independence, you gained an Airstream or two, (oh, just kidding you!) Congratulations. Now that's a real life Airstream love story for Valentines Day!
Saw a card today out shopping. It said women our age are out running marathons. Inside it said, that's good, that makes more margaritas for us. I'll drink to that while I listen at the campfire...
