I remember Dragnet - the original TV show. But I can't remember if I saw the movie remake.
Harry Morgan (Colonel Sherman Potter on M.A.S.H.) was Sgt. Friday's sidekick.

That was the second series Joe. The first was in black and white and his sidekick was Frank Smith.. heavyset guy....Always in a suit and a hat...Thats was his name in the show.. let me get my thinking cap on and maybe I can come up with his real name...

Harry Morgan came in its next series,,Late 60s I think...There was a few yrs gap between them with no Dragnet on at all..it was a bummer!!!!

I thought all shows were in black and white back then.  In any case, I'm pretty sure whatever Dragnet I saw was reruns when it was in "syndication" whatever than meant. I ain't old enough to have seen the original 1950's series, nor to have remembered the original airings of a 1960's series.
I think Dragnet may have been on in the afternoon when I saw it - maybe about 4pm(?) on the local TV station every afternoon after I got home from school. Of course that was in the 1970's. Eventually it was replaced by Gilligan's Island in that time slot.

There ya go Tin..LOL.. Nope second series was in Color its just not everyone had a color set ... I remember the first and second ones.. Thursday nights I think...

Rudy is still in recovery, but with the help of his therapist he should be well enough to come out of hiding...I think. It may take some prodding and perhaps a bit of "recipe" but I am sure he will make an appearance at least.

Going to try to make it
I'm going to try to make the 224 mile trip to this one. I wish I could have been at the buckeye rally but it didn't work out. I can't wait to meet the good people in blue,Or should I say silver. I've only made #4 trips in the AS and this will be the first solo trip. I hope all pans out.Thanks Robert
