Hi folks,
We've been out of touch for a couple of days. We are exercising the M-ball at beautiful Yosemite Pines with some of our fire buddies. We will be there on Thursday with the usual suspects: Bassett hounds (Milo and Lucy), cat (Mickey), Margarita Ball and some fine dish for the potluck. Ron and Deb

A little business

Here's what we all need to know.

When you get to the front desk you'll check in by space number and not your name.

The front desk will have a sheet of paper with your space # and your Forum name. Just tell them your space # and fill out the paperwork.

Jerry, A resident of the park while they build his house is moving from his space which is in the center of our group. I've met him and he's a nice fun guy so he got invited to the potluck as a thank you.

Since we don't have the 22 people required for the big price break our rate is $26.00 + the $2.00 electric fee.

The 30 Unit group that was scheduled at the park has cancelled so except for a few other scattered units...We have the whole park to run amuck in!

Bring your swinsuits for the pool. Ron, I checked as you asked, sorry you must wear a swimsuit in the pool and John, they prefer you leave your G-string at home.

I advised the park owner of the Mini golf turney, water balloon fight, Moho drag races, trailer races around the park oval and Sat. night potluck/party.
She laughed and reminded me that because of fire danger we not have a woodburning campfire. She also offered five long folding tables for the potluck.

I see that as pretty much a green light to have a good time

About this time one week from today. We'll be on our way to the Rally. WooHoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hmmmm, no wood burning, but then again, no ban on MoHo drag racing!

Yippee!

BTW, Twinkle, I and youngest son will be showing Fri evening around 7 or so, girlfriend and her son the next day, and oldest son coming back from scout camp will show Sat night.

That said . . ., would it appear too familiar for a newbie to supply the maritinis early and often?

Oh How I Envy

I've been following your thread even though I knew I wouldn't be able to attend. I am an expatriot so I was really yearning! Have a great time! We all expect many photos!

Is it possible to not use exclamation points when talking about all our rally's? :envy:

If I were a guy I'd say "wet T-shirt" contest. Did I say that?

So are you saying you are a California ex-pat? So-sorry. Also, we must make it clear...if you were a guy....we wouldn't want you in the wet T-shirt contest, we would ask you to enter the speedo speed-off contest during the slip'n'slide meet and greet party.

Also, the top five Wet T-shirt contest winners will follow up with a "demonstration only" event at the Twister pavillion ,where Zenflyr will be serving martinis while str8strm refills the second margi-ball.

Last but not least, I have just been informed that Safari-Rick has agreed to furnish all of the oil for the Ladies Wrestling event to be held as a post party to the MoHo races.

Dress Code Question from the Official Rule Book page 237

The Fancy Rolling Margi-ball is a must for the Miniature Golf Tourney which I understand is formal golf attire. And of course we must dress up and wear our best silver t-shirts and silver flip flops etc. for the cocktail party. (TIME has graciously and thankfully informed us that none...repeat NONE of the events will be simwwear optional.) But I'm wondering if we will have time to change after the Margi-ball events before the cocktail party after the martini bar before the wine tasting? What if someone should spill beer on their speedos??

Well, okay, my plan was to choose to wear a suit, but if we don't have that option, I guess I'm still in. R

Absolutely!

We just need to remember to use our best rally manners and wait until he's set up before we approach his campsite with our empty glasses in hand...

I sure am glad to see that Bam has the official Dress Code Rule Book. I thought I might have to bring a raiding party out from Colorado.
