Osolow,

I am not familiar with that way, but perhaps Billberk, Jim Lee, or nohillgrish will chime in on this. I think the easy way is 44 to 65, and then back door it with Jack's bypass.

On a side note, I received the smoked turkey for the Friday night potluck yesterday and spent a good 30 minutes cutting it up into more manageable pieces for the RV firdge. Looks like we have a ton of stuff for the potluck, and hopefully there shall be some leftovers for Saturday night during the BBQ cook-off and prize give away.

Our prize list for the BBQ and attendance so far:

A route 66 shirt and Rivet Romance print from Artstream

A camping Ice Cream maker

Silver Joes Coffee Thermos and cup

Silver Joe's Coffee

Airstream Key Chain

Airstream Crystal Statue

Shirts from Airstream of Arkansas

and whatever else I can scrape together in the next few days!!!!

Steve

Osolow,

Take I44 to 65 South like Jack says. It's the best route.

Only a few more days... !

Just as we were preparing out A/S to head to Branson we have had an unexpected change in plans and will now be leaving for my daughter's home in Atlanta. We were really disappointed we can not be in Branson because we know it's going to be a great party. The only good news is that we have a really nice site (#39) that will be available near the pavillion--it's a pull through I think for someone concerned about backing a long A/S into a short space. I will be calling Compton this morning to cancel and will request that they reserve this spot for a longer A/S, so if you want it call the park asap. We wish all of you the best and will look forward to being in Branson in the fall.

Gary and Nancy

BUMMER, but family comes first.

Gary was a judge for the BBQ competition. Anyone want to step up to the plate who isn't participating in the contest? I may also give up my judging spot to compete since it looks as if we may be low on entries.

We'll see you in the fall along with Shiraz.

Oh no, Gary and Nancy! We were looking forward to seeing you again (and showing you the microwave!)! I hope everything is okay with your daughter and that you have a safe trip to Atlanta.

See you in the fall!

Rain, rain, rain .... stormy weather

We're sure getting hit with lots of hard rain today in Central Illinois. Hope the weather is nicer in Branson this weekend.

The rain is creating quite a challenge for wrapping up a projects inside our "Emma" and getting her ready to hit the road.

Is the weather during the Spring Compton Ridge Rally always this eventful?

Nancy

I CAN say that I have NO leaks. I have been out in my trailer every night since we got it home, and it has rained about half of the days. There is no walter or wetness at all from floor to roof. I can't even feel any moisture on the carpeted floors.

Yeah, I thought you guys had chased Walter out of your trailer at AoA!
Seriously, that is FANTASTIC!!! Hopefully you won't have to worry about that for a good while.

Cool Bbq Judge

if at all possible my cousins husband would love to be a judge? they have decided on coming down with me and the wife.

on a side note do they sell water wings for A/S?

after thinking about and reading everyones suggestion i will go ahead and take 44 to 65. i'll try the other route one day when me and the wife are out on the bike.

Branson Nametag!

Here's an image of what the nametag will look like (it didn't translate too well from Word to gif, but take my word for it, it looks good as a nametag ). Those of you who have not got your names to me, please do so before tomorrow (Tuesday) night! I need your first name and forums name.
