Hi, this is Dusty / Boo-Boo; He adopted us at 13.5 years old. He learned how to use a doggy door within one day at our house. Before he adopted us his car riding experience was only to the Vet and the Parlour. This cropped picture is of Boo-Boo on the second day of his first real car ride. [picture of Boo-Boo in our trailer] This first car ride for him was 50 days long and over 10,000 miles.

This is Jet! He is a 1 1/2 year old silver Labrador. Appropriate, right? I gotta brag, he is such a great traveler. It seems he was made for the Airstream lifestyle. We almost forget he's in the truck when driving and he's right at home in the AS. He even likes to wear hats.
We love Jet. I don't know who gets more excited when the trailer is home, me or him? He understands that packing and walking back and forth to the trailer from the house means that soon we will be on the road.
Cheers to Jet!

Hi, I forgot to mention that Boo-Boo's first car ride was to Alaska.

We adopted Reuben from the pound last October- all 12 pounds of him. Our last dog, Molly, was a Maremma and weighed 120- a bit of a change- gotta love dog bath time in the kitchen sink! Reuben LOVES the Airstream!
Sorry to add another one (I've got millions!!) but this is the one I use as my avatar. We adopted Daisy last October when she was just 2 years old. This is literally 30 seconds after meeting her for the very first time. We can't wait to go camping with her!!!
Our two German Shorthaired Pointers are named Shebea & Remington (hunters and naughty!) and my little Maltese Lexi...or "The Rat" as the mean hunters call her! She thinks she's the boss & is the ONLY dog allowed in my Airstream!
This is our cat Cue. She is only 5 months old. Cue came home for the 1st time in my Cessna from Ohio. She has been to FLA and loves riding in our van. She will be streaming very soon.
We recently adopted these two guys, Stanley on the left and Eliot on the right. Stanley survived a coyote attack up in the hills, so we adopted them from friends and brought them down to where we live in the flats. I wish we could take them camping with us. I think Stanley could handle leash training, but Eliot... probably not. Anyway, Stanley survived the attack, Eliot has his partner, and all is well in the world!

Awwww, looks like love.

Yes, and that little dog was wandering around with that hat on at the Sarasota Rally- cute!

Cooper is a beautiful dog. Great thread.

You could probably take them. Sasha goes and while she gets upset in the truck, she likes the AS. She walks around inside a bit then starts making herself at home and runs from end to end bouncing across the beds to return back to the couch. Cats are interesting as they want familiar but once that is established they are usually fine. Oh, and Sasha says no to the leash.
