Here are photos of my daughter and I on my 1980 Honda CX500 which I bought new and still enjoy an occasional ride, and my 1977 Porsche 911S which is my summer fun car.

Very Cool,
If you have one of those, who needs another toy.
I still think those are the coolest ones ever made.

Here's the Packard...
Below is photo of Mom and 1940 Packard taken at Palo Alto Concours in 1999, celebrating 100th anniversary of Packards.. She won trophy from judges who were impressed by actual (used) radiator water bag over bumper, and original typed bill of sale from 1940.. Both still look about the same today..

ROb, i'm digging the buick! it reminds me of Christine. speaking of Christine, my budy's neighbor is restoring one of the original Christines used in the movie. very cool seeing it come together. a little slower than it did in the movie, though. ha!

An oldie but a goodie
This was my father's 1940 Ford dragster from years ago. Belongs to his best friend now. Set a world record in it's particular "gas" class on its final run down the track at San Antonio Drag Raceway in the fifties. It's got an old Chevy street motor in it now, but the racing gearbox is still there. The motor is in a crate at his house. He tells me when he reaches his second childhood, he might drop it back in there.

Great Thread Idea
I also love to work on restoring cars and trucks. I finished a three year frame up restoration of a '52 Ford F-1 Truck that was my son's first truck that he drove in High School.
Last week I purchased the 1965 Ford F-100 pictured as my next restoration project. What makes this truck special is that it is the SAME TRUCK that I ordered new from Ford. I sold it to my dad in 1966 and he drove it for 29 years. I kept track of who bought it from dad and now I have it back in my stable.
My wife wants me to restore a baby blue 1965 Mustang for her. Now that is a "Honey Do List Item" I am happy to take on.
Enjoy today, look forward to tomorrow, and restore the past!

A black '40 Ford coupe was almost my first car . My neighbor had one for sale for $75 back in '58 , it was almost cherry . Dad said it was too old and talked me out of it . I still miss it .

these kind of tales remind of the for real AC Cobra I test drove and could have bought for $700. I just couldn't see driving it to school every day and after all I had a 59 Vette at the time.

Good to see another 52 Ford. This one is my passion, well before I got the Argosy.

Coastal View,
Your pic's of the Citroen's are really cool. They prompted me to do a search on them to learn more and low & behold, look what I found on Ebay . Looks like it's in rough shape and I'm sure parts are $$$$$$ and hard to find.
Cheers,
Baron
