Congrats on the purchase. We are new to the AS world also and have a unit coming in Feb., supposedly, that I found by calling dealers in our area. Hopefully you can help educate us on the PB.

If you get the twin, the curb side outside storage bin is deeper than the street side. They do this so you can fit the table and chairs that come with it in there. It also makes the curb side bed underneath storage very shallow and almost unusable. Just an FYI.

There are many compelling arguments to choose the twin, longer bed, better flow in the trailer walking area, better storage, all have merits. there are some good videos on this on YouTube.
But for me it’s not my thing and I think it may be a harder sell when it comes time to sell this trailer down the road.

We ordered ours in August too. Initially, we were told February or March. Now our "confirmed" date is May. That's okay. I don't need to store or pay for it over the winter. The good about ordering in August is that we got in before the price hike!

All true but my wife and I (married 30+ years) are thinking the twin beds might bring back the dating vibe

Received word from our dealer yesterday that our PB is due to come offline on 2/7, so hopefully we will have "Gibson" in our hands by the very end of February/early March following shipping/prep!
We ordered mid-August, received VIN in November! Super excited!

That's fantastic! Please keep us posted - we ordered ours in early Oct. and the latest estimate is Oct. 2022. I'm particularly curious to find out what your actual hitch weight is with full water and some normal items onboard.

I've been told the soonest to expect my 10/21 order is now 10/22. The PB line is delayed due to specific part shortages.

We brought our PB SE home on 2/25 and just concluded our maiden voyage with our Gibson! The weather Gods tossed everything they could at us, so we were literally able to test every system on that camper! I'm happy to report that aside from one reading light in the bedroom that doesn't work... our Gibson is pristine! Not a stitch wrong with him.
He has a 90-day check-up scheduled and at this point, I have three items on the list (the reading light, a dent in the sink - which the dealer already knows about, and an oddly placed thermostat - which the dealer also knows about). Maybe Gibson was born on a Tuesday? Or perhaps AS is getting their act together with quality again? For everyone's sake, I'm hoping it's the latter!

So with orders that arrive this fall, I presume they will be 2023 models. Ours was ordered in Sep, still not a word from the dealer.

It's a pretty nice model, but for us, not practical with the fabric on cushions. I had a chance to see at the Austin RV show last month. Our first 2006 25' Safari Limited AS also had fabric cushions, and an L couch like in the 28' models including dinnete. The fabric was not easy to keep clean with our dog and grandkids. Since, we have owned 3 newer models with the leatherette type fabric...which wears extremely well and is easy to keep clean. Not the slippery type covering AS had in International models; the non slip type. But, the PB does look nice..like the GT model upgrades better...but not available in a 28'. Be interesting to get owner feedback after a year or so of use with the PB model.

I'm more worried about the cutting board over the sink flying off while going down the road. It's held on with an 1/8" lip.

I had the PB edition for a few months now and did probably 3000 miles of travel. I can guarantee you the cutting board will never fly off. Other thing will, just not the cutting board.

We ordered our PB mid Sep 2021, traded in our 27FB and were told 2nd quarter 2022. Never heard another word, i phoned about a month ago, salesman moved to new location but did phone me back and said he would look into it, didn’t hear a word. So finally went into the dealership. introduced to a new salesman who went and tried to get info. Took quite a while to give me no answer other than they could see my trade. No idea of when to expect, maybe 2 months??
When I got home there was an email from him saying he got an answer, projected offline date Feb 2023. I’m not pleased, was my trailer even ordered? And no communication from anyone, not to mention they have a huge deposit of mine. So a year late, basically a year and a half order to build….. maybe.
Frustrating.

We have had PB since December 15, 2021. Were told we may have had one of the first few actually delivered. As I said in another thread:

My wife wanted a PB - plain and simple. The features and look of the PB are without a doubt worth it. It is one of the best purchases we have ever made.
Life is short, buy it if you want it.

Could anyone who has spent some time in a PB comment on how comfortable the sofa is vs some of the ultra leather convertibles in other floor plans?

Hi there! I’ve been living full-time in my PB since January and I can assure you that the couch is super comfy! I have a big dog who will agree 100% (see pic [emoji23]). We can both lie down on it at the same time. Plenty of room! Also- the fabric is so easy to keep clean. If the dog gets dirt on it, it wipes right off with some water and a dab of mild soap. The fabric is durable as well. Let me know if you have any other questions!

100% agree, have been full-time in PB for 5 months now. If anything PB is objectively better than the rest. That's is the sofa. I would buy PB just because of the sofa.
