New to Airstream
Good Evening,
The wife and I traded in our 5th wheel for a Pendleton 39/100. We pick it up Tuesday and are very excited to take it out this weekend. Looking forward to getting to know people in the community.

Congratulations. Since we are still waiting to de-winterize, envious of your opportunity to immediately get out and use the new rig. We are still a month away +/-

We finally finished loading up Pendleton #62. Began with an early morning trip to Discount Tire to have the DILL TPMS stems and senders mounted and put on the Centramatic's wheel balancer's. Waited all day for Fed/Ex Ground to deliver a Hensley tow bar w/ 2" drop to replace my 4" drop, but they didn't show up until after 5:00. It does keep the trailer more level and the test drive went well. A few adjustments and I think she's ready to roll. Still want to check the weight at a certified scale. My scale confirmed that the published tongue weight of 923 lbs. was a little low. I'm hoping to keep it at 1100 pounds with water on board and the Hensley. We'll find out later today, if the severe weather holds off for a bit. Texas... always the chance for hail. Yikes!
Enjoy yours. I went to the factory in OH to see ours being built. What a fantastic opportunity. They're scheduled to finish all 100 by the end of the month. We'll see.
Let us all know how that first inaugural trip goes.

Congrats! We just picked up #99 last week and lovin it!! Can't wait to get it loaded and hit the road...my problem is all the neighbors stopping by wanting tours. We have it in the driveway for now but will be taking it to storage soon. Evidently lots of people have heard of the Pendletons but few if any have actually seen one in person. It has been advertised in many magazines and such so it's peeked curiosity for sure...will have to sell tickets. lol They are very nice Airstreams and we are super proud of ours.
