I'm glad to hear Charles is on the mend! Were going to miss you two and we will post pictures of the rally. Maybe next year we could shoot for a Spring Rally to avoid the heat!

I don't want to get caught in that. Moho is all packed did the grocery shopping tonight fridge is loaded. Guess whatever we forget we will get while on the road. We can't wait!! I may post tomorrow night to let y'all know how far we got. see everyone soon. 15 hrs in Moho will be interesting.

We've been in Arkansas and Missouri for a week now. We like the heat and typically can handle the heat ... but this place is HUMID. Get ready to sweat like a stuck pig. Everyone have safe travels ... we look forward to the rally in a couple of days. We've been practicing on the margarita machine.

The nice thing about the humidity is you have less wrinkles! But it does reek havoc on your hair! Bring lots of ice and shorts and t shirts are now considered formal wear. See you all soon!

Well, not much humidity left here in the metroplex, but I'm still super sweaty minutes after stepping out. I brought the Argosy home this evening to tidy and load. The fridge lit easily but was out when I got home, mostly 40 mph drive. It relit nearly instantly. I hope it'll run on lp on the road but we'll prepare for the worst.
I'm trying to do most of the work tomorrow and Thursday morning when it's "only" 90.

It's been storming like a son of a gun here in Chicago. I hope it lets up today for us. We store the CCD some 90 miles west of here, and that alone can take two hours. I'll snap into Travel Day Mode here pretty quick, but it's going to be a long couple of days. Getting real excited now! We plan on pulling into the Wanderlust Thursday night. Leave the lights on!

We are one the road! We left DC about 4 hours latter than planned but finally got on the road. We drove to just outside of Columbus Ohio last night spent the night in a nice KOA at Buckeye Lake. It was my first trip in the MH ( besides a short test trip last winter). It was cold but nice. Mike had made many little tweaks to the MH. Last night was nice slept well and woke up to a nice light rain. I hope it breaks this heat wave we have been having. The nav say we can be in Eureka Springs tonight at about 8pm. We will probably stay some where between here or there Mike is saying let's stop at this rv place so that will kill about 5 hours. You know boys and their toys. Cant wait to see everyone.

@Myrtle lynn: That is a LOT of shiny aluminum! Whoever is parked west of you is going to heat up in the afternoon.
Looks fantastic!

For once I hope the weatherman is right, it's predicted to drop into the double-digits starting Friday! Who ever thought "99" sounded cool?
OK, so my favorite chef wasn't satisfied with just the pork tinga. We're also bringing a Roasted Bell Pepper soup that I guess we'll put out for Friday evening. It's a little spicy, and it's vegetarian this time around, just for the Birthday Boy/Host/Organizer/Instigator.
We're bringing some disposable bowls for the soup, but my impression is that we're generally each responsible for our dinnerware at the pot lucks, no?
I put one of my wireless sensors out in the trailer... it's 115 at the moment (with an ambient outdoor temp of 109.) Looks like it'll be ice chests for this trip, the fridge pulled down to 42F overnight, but even if it stays lit while we're driving it just can't fight this heat with the trailer in the sun (like it'll be on the road tomorrow.) It's about 75F in the bottom compartment at the moment.

Yum! We pack ice bags in the fridge to keep it cool while we travel. Just a thought. Yes, we bring all of our own dinnerware for the potluck (such virgins)! You will be a pro in no time and thanks for going veggie for me! Everything here is ready, just pack her up in the morning and we will see u @ 8!

It's good to see y'all headed this way. I wish I had better news, but it is HOT in Arkansas. Short pants and cold drinks will be the order of the day.
See ya on Saturday.

Tomorrow morning we'll load up and hit the road too. We're planning to pull out of the neighborhood by 7, which means we'll be out by 8ish,
See y'all tomorrow night!
