OR Unit Rally - South Beach, Newport OR June 17-19, 2011

What better way to have some summer fun than making memories with your family & Airstream friends at the Oregon Coast! This rally will be held at South Beach State Park just south of Newport, OR and is the starting point for the Sampling Oregon Caravan. The area is full of family friendly attractions including the Oregon Coast Aquarium, Hatfield Marine Science Center, Yaquina Head Lighthouse and the historic Newport Bay Front. The park itself has wonderful hiking paths leading to the beach and jetty. For those kids & grandkids in attendance, Camp Airstream Kids Camp will be open with fun crafts & activities.

We have 25 sites reserved & the cost for this rally is $80. The fee will include a water & electric campsite for two nights, dinner Friday & Saturday and breakfast Saturday & Sunday. This would be a great rally in which to come early or stay an extra day or two. If you are interested in doing so, please coordinate with the rally host so you can get your site number assignment and not have to move. This is also a buddy rally, so any brand of RV is welcome.

I would love to come and make it #3 in my string of rallies. I love South Beach. It's going to be just too much before my family gathering on the east coast.

Teresa, at this point I am only aware of one grandson around 5 years old. Are your grandkids coming?

We are up to 19 trailers, looking forward to seeing everyone and meeting a few new friends. I'll be contacting the park tomorrow (Mon 6/13) to give up our unused spots, so contact me ASAP if you want to attend. It's not too late!
