Glad to see vanilla ice cream is coming for the Rumtopf.
I will also bring some whipped cream.
I jarred this up yesterday morning, one large jar to come to CanOpener, and I have to say the ruby red syrup is absolutely delicious.
Raspberries, blueberries, nectarines, peaches, sugar, and Rum....macerating these past 6-8 months or so.
The fruits look as if they have been immersed in alcohol all this time...macerated, would be the accurate description ...but we'll see how folks like it.
The medieval-housewife-in-a-prior-life in me enjoyed putting it together, and watching it do its thing.

To anyone interested in playing the jam session, please know that you'll have the amphitheater available for your use. And if y'all can play some Jimmy Buffet, etc... may I STRONGLY suggest you plan a session for Friday, say about noon to 5
If any questions just find me when you get there!
