Max payload question

Is it still true that the "max payload" option is not available on a new F150 crew cab? How about Chevy/GMC in 1500 series crew cab?

Husband is finally back on the truck thing -- not just for towing, but because he's excited about it. Neither of us had purchased vehicles in many many years - just took the family hand-me-downs. Bought the Yukon XL last year and love it. It tows well, but husband is now thinking truck for himself and if we purchase one we'd likely tow with that instead.

Would be interested in the new F150's or GMC 1500's, but would have to have the max payload for 27', us, two large dogs, and stuff. Also must have Crew Cab to fit us!

I don't think we could get the max payload in a crew cab 1500?? If not, might move to the 2500 diesel next. 2500 is no problem, but it would also be a daily driver in town so just want to consider both.

The GMs don't have a max payload option stand alone. It is part of the Maxtow package and gives you 400 pounds more payload. Yes, it is available in crew cab. Mine is a double cab LTZ with most options and has a 2034 payload. So a crew will be around 1800 pounds of payload

Available on the F150 supercrew 6.5 foot bed. XLT and Lariate. Might be available for the crewcab with a 8 foot bed.
