Drawer latch

I have a 30’ airstream Classic. My pull out drawer under the microwave does not have a grabber latch on it. Does anybody know if I was suppose to have one?

I’m pretty sure it should or it would fly open while driving. When we picked our 2012 27 up, the latch was missing on our drawer and the dealer fixed it the day we picked it up.

Good luck!

You would think so. Well, that just happened to me. Drove a 300 mile trip, when I pulled into the campsite and opened the door the drawer flew out and the 2 sides were broke.

grabber catch on Classic 30

We had exactly the same problem on our 2018 Classic 30...pulled the drawer out and saw a grabber latch connected to back wall but NOT attached to backside of drawer
just poor quality control at factory
now the problem is how in the world to line up the male and female parts of the catch

frustrated new owner
