I have a 2011 Interstate 3500. Tried to camp this weekend in Florida and campground only had 50 amps service. used a dog bone adapter with surge protector but rig would not recognize ac power to run a/c.
Checked the power at the panel and it was good. Checked the cord and it was good. swapped out my cord with a nieghbor and no change.
Powered off everything, ran generator and power was fine to A/C.

    What do Icheck now?

You replied in 2019 to my article "Multiple issues with 2017 Base Camp"

I appreciate your response and regret that I missed it initially.

The last six digits of the VIN are 203078.

Besides issues already related, we found mid-2020 a soft area in the kitchen floor. The dealer diagnosed sub-floor rot, not covered by warranty, $7500 to fix.

At the time it was only three years from the manufacturer, and we had owned it for slightly less than two years.

The dealer offered us a trade in, for which we paid $33,336.50 and have only taken on vacation twice -- it's still using the first of the two original propane bottles -- for a 2021 Basecamp, for an additional $30,000. We would be, in effect, paying for the trailer twice.

We are, therefore, looking at having a third party fix it, and then trade it in towards another trailer (not Airstream).

We are profoundly disappointed in Airstream, and are unlikely to ever do business with you again.

We just purchased our first motor home, 2020 AI Tommy Bahamas, 24 GT. We are the 3rd owner. Going through Airstream to register ownership but the process seems very passive. Instead of someone walking us through the ownership process, it seems the answer only come with us asking specific question. Could you kindly help us with some questions?
    1. Is the limited bumper to bumper warranty transferable?
    2. The previous owner never took the advantage of coachnet membership, so could we have the info, given this is still a very new AI
    3. What exactly the MB warranty cover? And how do we get that transferred?

Thank you for any help or direction you can provide.

Thanks for the quick reply to my post "Belly pan leak after macerator and back flush." I will send you the contact and TT info you requested by private message and/or call the phone number you provided. I have four other problems that I think should be covered under warranty; three minor and one a bit more serious. I have an appointment to drop off our trailer on Oct 22, 2020 at the dealer where we purchased it, but it's only an extra hour or so drive to get to Jackson Center, OH.

Responding to your answer to my post regarding the electrical fire at the Atwood water heater electrical connections. - Richard J. Keller SR; richard@KellerSr.com; VIN 1STJFYP28HJ538686; purchased new in 2017. I have a service appointment in July to replace all tires with 80 PSI Endurance to match the trailer placard, replace bad comm wire for HVAC control, bad LED cluster in rear tail light, and a shattered front 30" stack window. This electrical problem occurred after the appointment was scheduled. My converter charger also failed after this problem and I replaced it. I do not know if it was related. Original post 06-11-2020, 05:41 PM. Thank you.

I actually took it to Camper Clinic II in Buda, TX. They were super helpful and got me in same day. They are replacing it and I pick it up tomorrow!

I can understand an oven being say 20-30 degrees off, but over a hundred is going to burn food...
