Using external power connection adapted to 20 amp

We are storing where we can connect our external 50 amp outlet and converted to 20 amps for 3 hrs a day for charging the batteries. So as we thought this through. Our 2018 serenity has a battery disconnect switch inside the door. We have pondered back and forth. If we switch off the battery connect switch inside, will our battery still charge as we are hooked to power. Logically we thought no but hey. We would like the answer we know thar for storage to use the battery disconnect. We have not had the current situation.

No. If you switch off the battery disconnect your battery will not be charged by the converter.
