There is not a lot of money involved (less than $100) so I assume this does not rise to the level of law enforcement being interested. From the start, I have taken actions that protect me from this fraud so I need no tutoring on defensive tactics. The question is whether the operators of this forum are sufficiently interested in a detailed narrative of the facts I collected while engaging with this scammer. Please respond with a Direct/Private message if you wish to learn more.

    Good evening.

I wrote to support@airforms.com to inform them of a thief/scammer who is a new community member. They instructed me to contact the Site Team. Of the Site Team user names on the forum right now, you have the most creative. So here i am messaging you.

I placed a WANTED post in the classified tab of the forum. I have compelling evidence to believe this member who responded to my ad is not who he says he is and is attempting to con me into sending money for something he does not own.

    To be continued.

Hi, I was just given the 2018 factory set up solar for free, and am wanting to install it for our 2003 25’ Safari. We boondock very little, and when we do for a weekend in weather that won’t need much heat and of course no AC. Would the factory solar work for us or is it not worth the install?

Love your TT. I have the same one. Did you do your own solar install ? I am considering doing one.

Hi wulfraat: Was searching old posts recalling that I liked your closet project. Found this:

"Recommend you reinforce the closet floor.....We ended up rebuilding it with adjustable shelving. Added power outlet and a vent fan for our ice maker too."

Am thinking that this might be an interesting winter project if I could learn more from your efforts.
    1. What circuit did you extend for your ice maker?
    2. Do you have any 'shareable' technical or detailed drawings?

My closet is totally wasted space at this point and I really would like flexibility. On a recent trip, the second twin bed was my closet and that won't work if I bring anyone.

    Thanks,
    Bick

Hi wulfraat. I saw a post you made on purchasing an Airstream in NJ. The post caught my attention because we are moving from Anchorage to Denver. We are trying to decide whether to take 28 International SS AS or sell locally and buy new in Denver - I have been lusting after the new 28 GT... What is your experience with the Denver dealership like? Also, where do you store your AS? We will be living in the city and will need to store and the only places I can find are outdoor uncovered parking. I am worried about the hail storms I have heard about in Denver. Any thoughts would be appreciated. We are excited about our move to Denver!

Hello Wulfratt. What was the cost associated to your modifications to your Serenity? I have a new 18 and am looking to be able to run my trailer off of solar power. I was recommended by a couple I ran into in Wisconsin who recommended me to Lew Farber. Their trailer had 600 watts of solar. I currently have the factory 160 watts. If I want to run everything even when I travel down the road what would i need to install install based on the current base system I have in the Serenity?

Hello Wulfratt, I saw a post with your drawings of how to wire a battery. I'm in the process of renovating a 1986 29" side bath (rear AC fuse box, front batteries). I was wondering if there were any other electrical drawings you had, or could point me towards which might show best practice. Mine project is fairly simple - no solar, future inverter, typical stock loads . I want to install all the proper fuses, switches, cables etc. with more regard to safety and professionalism than cost. Are you aware of any specific drawings which show best practice in detail?

    Thanks Scott

    Hi there,
We're new Airstreamers who live in Centennial and caught a post of yours about AS clubs that drew our interest. Have thought about joining the local WBCCI primarily to learn more about these trailers. We tend to camp solo and want to do more off the grid camping as
Colorado in particular isn't what it used to be for the "great outdoors experience". Quit skiing several years ago as a result. Anyway, thought you might be able to offer more detail as to why you chose to not join a club and how you've been able to find answers to your questions as you've traveled with your trailer. Thanks, Dave.
