External Water Filter setup

I engineered this box for my external water filter that is so handy and ready for freezing temps. I drilled 2 holes in the lid for the hoses to exit and 1 hole in the side for the heat tape. Click image for larger version

Good looking box! Do you have the heat tape extended out of the box and inside some hose insulation to the faucet and trailer?

Yes, I do have heat tap loosely wrapped around both exposed hoses. I plan on putting pipe insulation around the hose with heat tape on all exposed hoses. Its not cold enough for me to worry about freezing yet, so I don’t plug in the heat tape and I haven’t gotten to the pipe insulation yet.
