1962 Tradewind Owners Manual

Hello,

Does anyone have a owners manual for a 1962 Tradewind in PDF? or know where I can get one? or possibly have a wiring diagram for one?

We need one too. We just adopted a '62 Tradewind and I think it's going to need a little work. :-)

From what I gather they did not exist back then. Just the manuals for the various appliances installed in the trailer. However they apparently did start printing some later on around 1964. Airstream has copies of those available.

There are a few things here:

Airstream 1960's Stuff

Here's a 1963 Overlander Schematic. Should be pretty close, but remember that they were all hand built. My schematic on the '59 Overlander was written on the back of a piece of aluminum cover over the wire inlet.

Appreciate the diagram. It should help. It looks like it will at least identify circuits etc. still need to id the year etc. sometimes Texas titles don't get some of the details right. Most 62Tradewinds I see online look a bit different. Like: this one has suicide opening, 2 hinge door. Mechanically operated hydraulic brakes. Big round light socket in the center of front cap. I will try to post some photos.
