Hey All,
I continue to have issues with my Notso "relax" zipdee awning. I had an issue with the arm not lifting--it would got out but the arms would not lift to clear the door. I contacted zipdee and after going through several days of talks with Linda--we figured the front arm was stripped and wouldn't lift--ordered another arm ($400.00 for a refurb). That was easy replace--but I also noticed that the awning was raising crooked--she asked me to swap the gas rafters to see if that would help. I did this and it did line up the awning but I realized one of the rafters was not working--so I stopped messing with the awning until I ordered a replacement rafter ($1100.00). I replaced that today after putting it off for 2 weeks. Now, I go to try to get the awning out. I turn it on and it shows in "Open Status" and will not budge--I hit close--it makes a noise like it tries to close but still says "Open Status". I then think--alright maybe I will take the battery connector and open it up then close to reset---this didn't work --it would close for about 2 inches then stop and be in open--closed--2 inches'--open. Continued this til it was all the way closed and still "open status". I disconnected the board and reconnected still open. I disconnected power and batteries--still open. I am trying my best to really love the camper--but this "Notso" relax awning is driving my patience. This is a 2019 GT 27 FB. The issue started 4 months after warranty expired. I am hoping there is a guru here that can give me some tips on how to get the status to change to close
TIA Tim
