I was having an issue with the power awning to close all the way. After pushing the retract button at the door panel a few times I was able to walk the awning back in the last foot or so.
I then tried to extend the awning and nothing...
I called Zip Dee and tech support determined that the awning components were fine, but the AirStream controller was bad.
I called AS Tech Support. After a couple of power downs, battery disconnects, and updating the AS App...still nothing. The support person said I should take it to the dealer to have a tech with a multi-meter check out the system. Our nearest AS dealer is 90 miles away.
I went to my trusty Air Forums and did a search and found some conversation around the circuit board behind the bottom drawer in the galley, and advice to check wire connections. There was one mention of a reset switch. Bingo! I checked the wire connections, made sure there was not water intrusion/damage (since the board sits right below the sink). I powered up the 12V
battery connect (leaving off shore power) and pressed the little black reset switch. I flurry of flickering green lights on the board told me I was on to something! The awning now works as it should from the panel at the door, and the AS Smart App!
