Urgent Help: Cabling of Thermostat

I was in the middle of replacing the existing Dometic Thermostat and replace it with the MicroAir Wifi model. I was clumsy and when I disconnected the original thermostat the phone wire pulled back and disappeared behind the wall.

I am in a 2021 27F Globetrotter, so the wall is the backside of the shower. I opened a pre-cut lid on the bottom (below the TV) but no sight of the cable.

I'd appreciate any tricks to either open the wall or help me find a solution. I am writing this on a day of a heatwave

I removed everything on the wall and then at last removed the light switch and found the cable. Crisis averted, I have a sick dog and it is 105F outside today. Sorry for the panic but hopefully this post will help another clumsy person like me...
