No issues with heat on fridge vent cabling install?
I've seen alot of posts using the fridge vent for routing cables to the roof. Has anyone had trouble with this due to the combustion gases being vented in propane mode?
Generally the temp is not high enough for combustion of proper cabling. But, pulling the fridge and securing the cables is necessary for best safety... not perfect, but it can work.. many have done it. Be careful.. good luck.

Pulling the cable through the vent is fine as long as you keep the wires away from the components in the back of the fridge and not directly coming in over the flu on the fridge heater( left side of fridge looking from front). There should be enough room to get the wire out of that space before the fridge top. Seal around it well.
The general air temp in the back doesn't get hot enough to cause problems with wiring, but some components on the back of the fridge itself can.
