Have factory installed (2012) P2 (87 Sovereign) that has always dripped from wall drip line, finally got 30 amp power installed at home and turned on AC, no water from road side drip line but water coming from roof curb side of unit. Blew (not compressor) into drip line and didn't clear. Looks like P2 drip cups are installed. Trailer isn't completely level but close, never had issue at campgrounds, any suggestions?
My P2 on my 2017 clogged up after 3 years in service. I had some water coming out via the plumbed drain / wheel well but a larger amount of water snaked down the interior skin and out the belly pan.
I blew out the lines from above (using compressor). That seemed to solve the issue. I also ran a weed whacked line up the drain tube but it was clear.
I plan to go up top and check out the drain pans (2 small units) on the exterior unit to ensure they are truly clear. I will also seal up the foam gasket with silkaflex or dicor to ensure no water from the outside gets into the coach where the 1/2 inch drain tube enters....
Have not removed anything inside, could you be a bit more specific as to what can be removed to inspect?
From memory: Remove AC blower vents on interior AC housing. You will see some screws holding the housing to the body of the AC. Remove housing and you will see the drip pan. My trip pan was cracked where the drain line entered the drip pan. This also caused the housing to leak. I sealed it with silicone. I did not remove the drip pan.
