After 50 years, I decided to cut it shorter and tame the curls. I found a hairdresser that trained me how to cream or gel and scrunch after washing. Haven't used my hairdryer yet on the road. When I use it again, I expect it will be on my watercolor paints!

Maybe the unasked question is why doesn't Milwaukee or Mikita or Riobi have a hair dryer that can use the very expensive LiIo battery back that many of us have paid for?

Nobody is shaming anyone, certainly not deliberately. Some of the jokes (not mine, apparently ) were really ingenious. Hopefully we all know how to accept a wee poke in the ribs, on occasion.
I suspect there's a difference between those of us who started out primitive camping in the Back of Beyond prior to RVing, and those of us with more urban/urbane backgrounds.
Peace, y'all.

Put your head in front of your Airstream heater vent and blow dry it (when the heat turns on) without using additional energy. A second option, if you have bathrooms at your campsite, is to put your head under the hand dryer blower, it’s more powerful than a hand dryer. I do have a mini dryer when electric is available.

Piggybank: when I was a backpacker, I liked the cordless option but didn't have access to a vehicle 12v or electrical outlet to recharge the battery when in the backcountry. However, it is an option for us glampers but wow! the prices of the ones in the review were just under $200!

Just saw this in a RV catalog, which I would imagine Amazon also offers.

I recommend coming up with alternative styles. We just finished a 13 night boating trip (40’) with another couple in Desolation Sound/Discovery Islands. I realized styling my short shoulder length hair could be an issue. Pig tails, pony tails and twists and hats were helpful. Bumble and Bumble “Don’t Blow It” styling product was helpful. My hair actually looked cute in pictures. Dry shampoo is helpful too. Get some bobby pins, clips and clear rubber bands.
