We’ve spent four weeks on four different trips up on New Fork Lake. We used to haul the canoes up to Green River Lake. I always noticed those sites along the river, but wasn’t sure I could get my AS back in there. Hopefully will get a 3” lift installed shortly after retirement. Will make getting back in there a bit easier.
Hopefully I’m thinking of the same Green River and Green River Lake that you are.

At Lake City Co altitude 9100’ the aspen and cottonwood are full color. Highway 149 from Lake City to Creede CO is a view to behold. Moose and bears are out for the viewing.

Dry camping at Oregon Inlet National Seashore Campground on the Outer Banks, NC. Just a short walk to the Ocean to view a sun rise.

Dan, was there a lot of damage from the hurricane? Is October a good time to visit the outer banks? Definitely on my bucket list.
