We had a 3 day reservation, however plenty of walk in sites. We were camped at South Causeway 111 which has lake and trail access. Curt Gowdy has a massive trail system great for mountain biking.

We have many pictures of gorgeous sites we had last year, but thought I'd reveal one of the surprises in Idaho. The only part of Bruneau Dunes State Park that didn't burn was the campground. Not sure if it's true but we were told that 13,000 acres burned in 6 1/2 minutes.

Just a pull off boondocking site somewhere between Mammoth and Duck Creek Village, Ut. (Off FH50) There were lots of sites. Just get on google Earth and look around. Most of the roads were fairly well maintained (but we don't drive down roads with the trailer attached we haven't driven with the tow vehicle first.). Our nearest "neighbors" were between 1/4 to 1/3 a mile away. About 8,000 feet in elevation. We watched antelope forage out our front door all weekend.
