Campground in Fort Collins area

Looking to stay in the Fort Collins area for a couple weeks this summer. Anyone who might have some recommendations for this area we'd love to hear them. No kids, don't need or want a pool, pet friendly.
Thanks

Horsetooth Reservoir is a nice county park.

Horsetooth is great sites fill quickly for summer. We just returned from 2 weeks in Fort Collins at the KOA Lakeside/Fort Collins. It was great for our stay. Location is a bit industrial, but facilities are nice and clean. Easy access to CSU, old town, Poudre Canyon, etc... If you do not have to be in Fort Collins you might look at CG's in Estes Park.

We camp out near FOCO every winter, our son lives there. Boyd Lake State Park is handy, just about 15 mins south. Ive heard Horsetooth is nice, we have never camped there but have explored. Both of those are big for boaters. Lyons is a little further, half hour or so. They have a BEAUTIFUL city park there that is bordered by the St Vrain river, they fill up fast but its worth it. Those are the closest,(and the KOA).

If you're going to stay for two weeks or more it would be worth buying an annual state park pass for $75 apx. They charge a daily vehicle fee of $8 on top of your camping fee without the pass. You can do it online or at checkin at any of the state parks.

We just got back a week ago.
