Bike Rack

Anyone ever wonder why Airstream sells bake racks for the rear of your trailer when they say in their manual not to do it? Hmmmm.
Anyone have experience hauling Bikes on the back? Any issues?

I have one, no issue except wish it swung away. I have followed bikes at high speeds, no moving of bikes.

It has additional support brackets attached to the shell so it doesn't rotate downward to over-stress the trailer frame.

We have carried our bikes there on many cross-country trips, coast to coast. They are easy to access, solidly mounted, and bug-free.
