Any surf fishing Airstreamers out there?

I have been surf fishing the southern New England coast the last few years towing a 19' Bambi and usually staying in state parks and some private parks. The Martha's Vinyard striped bass derby runs from the middle of September till the middle of October and is great fun. If anyone needs any information or would like to meet up I'll try to give as much help as possible.

I used to do a lot on the Outer Banks of NC - twice a year for 15 years or so. Pretty much quit because the blues blitzes have become few and far between. It would be great to latch on to some good fishing - and catching - again. Perhaps we can explore this...

All the surf fishing I did was at least 35 years ago on Padre Island near Corpus Christi and Flour Bluff, TX. It sure was fun growing up and doing that. The only salt water gear I have left is a Mitchell 300C spinning reel and a Mitchell/Garcia rod. The rest of my stuff now is for Trout and Bass fishing.

Ive been surf fishing for 30 years in so. calif...im only 20 minutes from the beach... ive noticed that as the years go by the surf fishing isnt as good. It used to be common here to pull in huge halibuts from the shore.. now besides little surf perch all I can seem to catch are sand sharks...they are cool to catch but not to eat.. Plus I was sort of bummed I coudlnt cast out to the kelp beds... SO....now I have a 38' flybridge sportfisher. So can fish wherever.. But im camping at the beach in a few weeks and you know I will have a line out in the water the whole time in there..
Anyone in so calif want to trade helping me polish my trailer for an all expense paid fishing trip to Santa Cruz and Anacapa islands.. For some reason to go out 20 miles fish all day and come back is $350.00 in fuel...must be the twin V8's..hehehe.. seriously help me polish I will take you fishing...You only have to help for one day...
