4760 ft, freak snow storm, drove 100 miles out of there on unplowed roads on the way back to California! Great spot any time of year!

We stayed there over 20 years ago. Stayed in one of the cabins and there was barely any heat till I got out my tools and fixed it (the owner said nothing could be done). Had very nice meals in the lodge and day hikes over the catwalk. The morning we left it was so cold the old diesel didn't want to start and when she finally did we smoked out the whole place for a few minutes (no emissions other than EGR).
