Hi All-

Well this is off to a great start, here it is only the third day of the month and we are getting some really fun photos. Keep them coming. The more photos there are the harder you make it for me and I love a good task! I also love a great photo!

Happy New Year to all! We had so many 1sts this last year. We moved to Georgia, we added mom and sis to our home, we added Gus, my new job, her retirement. We bought another (larger) AS.

In restrospect, I wish I had gotten out of my truck with my camera when we were bringing our 31' home and got stuck on our driveway. That would have been a pic. At 12:15am, we rounded the curve in the driveway to go up, but I couldn't make it. The tires spun on the gravel, the rear of the AS dragged and we stopped. I surveyed our position, then backed down the hill into the neighbors drive then gunned it back up. Here is the first pic at home in the driveway. It means something to me...after driving from Ocala FL to finally make it home, then get stuck in the driveway after midnight.

Good luck to all, and may everybody enjoy the fun photos.

Found a picture of our first camping trip in our "new" 1978 Argosy. It was a disaster as we lost most of the running lights on the way there (I had washed the trailer really, really well and loosened them) and the AC quit working our first night. We were still excited about actually having an Argosy because we knew there was nothing that couldn't be fixed on an Airstream. Take a close look and you will see that running light is gone.

Our new Liner

Here are a couple of pictures of our new 1954 29' Double Door Liner. The at home starting the rehab, first view in Tampa and hooked up and moving toward its new home, with new axles, wheels and tires.

Safe and Sound

Talk about new beginnings...if you truely have aluminitis this will bring a tear to your eye.

For the first time since I've owned her "Old Paint" is sleeping inside. Tonight I parked the Argosy in our new barn! I took a lousy picture with my camera phone so to make it more interesting I tweeked it in Photoshop.

We closed on this property a few weeks ago and although the barn isn't as clean inside as I wanted it to be we are expecting rain and snow so I figured I'd get the TT out of the weather. This dream property is just what I've been looking for: A fixer-upper that we could afford, more room inside and out, and with out buildings

Gotta add us to the courtesy parking list next...15 minutes off I-80 and 90 West of Cleveland.

Take care all,

Steve

ID:	30430Many new beginings for us- 1 Jayco, 2 Airstreams and 1 Spartan in '06. Now that we're down to our favorite AS and a Spartan the most exciting begining was watching the smile erupt as the polishing process began, also a good sign that ALOT of other resto was done.
