Side wall Fridge vent

I lost my vent cover.

Anyone know if I can find just the insert without having to by the frame too.

I have the 22’ tandem 05 CCD International.

Don’t care if it is white as I plan on spraying both as the original grey is wearing off.

This was my temp solution, while travelling. Local hardware store gave me a piece of black flashing it was aluminium on the other side. Picked up a cheap air vent cut the hole and riveted it on. Screwed to the extra holes.

Glad my tool box included a pair of tin snips and extra rivets, you never know what you will have to repair on the road.

A Pepsi box and duct tape was the quick repair, to keep as much rain out as possible as it was pouring rain when I lost it in Newbrunswick. Changed them around after, as cardboard and heat may not have mixed well

There is a much better looking stainless steel replacement for those plastic fridge vent doors, but not cheap. Look into "exterior accessories" on the Airstream website store. Your wallet will cringe, but they look a lot nicer...other suppliers may be a bit less painful on price...

On my Christmas wish list, because my plastic vents are starting to show sun damage, and I hate fussing them into place. It's also a heck of a lot easier to mount fans on metal instead of the weird plastic louvers. And I can put a real locking handle on them instead of the flimsy plastic turn-thingies that are on there now.

Failing that, you will have to look up the part number, and probably buy the whole assembly...
