Fuse Keeps Blowing
The 20amp fuse in position 5 blows when DC power applied via the "Use" switch.
This circuit controls the furnace, wardrobe light, and rear storage compartment light.
Does anybody out there have a wiring diagram and/or schematic showing this circuit on a 2007 International Bambi 19?
Also any troubleshooting ideas for determining where the short or open might be would be helpful. I visually inspected the three items on the circuit but didn't see any obvious damage.
Thanks.

Call Jackson center customer service. They should be able to email you the schematic for your trailer.

The circuit will be a series circuit. Disconnect the feed at the furthest fixture from the panel and work your way back towards till the breaker no longer trips. The problem is either in the last item you disconnected or the wiring from that item to the previous. The problem is most likely in the item as apposed to the wiring between items, unless this was a problem from when the trailer was new then factory screw up is an option.

Fuse keeps blowing
I sent a request for wiring diagram/schematic to Airstream customer service last Thursday, hopefully they'll respond soon.
I think the last fixture in the series circuit is the storage compartment light. Do I just cut and cap the wire to see if this fixture might be the cause?
Thanks for the help!

At each item just lift, or cut if necessary, the feed wire from the item and reset the breaker. If the breaker holds the problem is in that item. If the breaker trips the problem is closer to the panel and you have to move towards the panel to the next item.

My experience is that they don't respond to emails all that well, but if you call the 800 number, wade through the phone tree, and wait for a live person they will take care of you and send you what you need.

Just to follow up on my issue....Airstream did send me a wiring diagram which showed that a sewer light was also on the #5 circuit. The sewer light is near the black/gray discharge valve area. Upon examining the switch and light I noticed a frayed wire. I wrapped some electrical tape around the fray and voila...no more blown fuses and all lights and furnace now working!!
Thanks for the help all!
