Battery lost power

We were hooking up the solar panel to the battleborn lithium batteries today on our Airstream. The black alligator clip touched the red terminal and sparked three times. The battery stopped working after the spark. This has happened before and normally the converter resets after we plug it into the tow vehicle. However today the battery did not reset. I checked the breakers and none of them tripped. Any ideas on what else to troubleshoot?

The Battleborn BMS protects against shorts. Here is the piece of the manual which talks about it. Seems like you have to disconnect the battery cables to reset.

"Short Current Discharge Surges

Our BMS has built-in short circuit protection. If the short circuit protection is tripped, the BMS will shut the battery down and will remain disconnected until you remove the battery cables. While the battery cables are disconnected, we suggest taking the voltage of the battery with a voltmeter. If it reads above 10V, reconnect the battery cables. If you are unsuccessful at obtaining a voltage reading above 10V, please give our technical support team a call."

Disconnecting the negative cable and reconnecting it worked. The battery reset and is operating again. Appreciate the help!
