New member intro
Hi, I've been registered here for some time, but just filled out profile, etc.
My name is Don, and I work as a Vendor at Dog Shows, thus my handle dondogs. When I first joined, I was looking for an Airstream, but that is on the back burner again for a while. I had a Chinook motorhome for 7 years and 145,000 miles, but never a trailer. Currently my work takes me to shows at hotels and a trailer in that situation is too cumbersome so I travel in a conversion van. I have enjoyed the forums immensely and have learned a lot from them.
In the future, I plan to travel the US without having to work.
Thanks for the site!
Don

Welcome - with a warning!
We welcome you - but....
If you keep reading here you'll catch aluminitis... and Airstreams rather than sugar plums will dance in your head when you dream.
There are only two kinds of travelers, Airstream owners and FUTURE Airstream owners. Hope you are able to have your Airstream Dream turn into reality soon.

Welcome aboard...even if it is just for dreaming right now! Who knows what the New Year will bring...maybe a bite from the aluminitus bug!

Welcome Don, I'm certain we have met somewhere on the dog show circut. I have shown dogs for over 20 years, not often in your part of the country. I usually don't go much past LA or AR. I used to travel in a Caravel, but now have a bigger Argosy. Welcome to the forum and hope you someday will join us in our passion for these great pieces of Americana. Not many other brands are still out on the road and going strong after 30+ years.

Thanks for the welcomes! Actually, I'm looking around a bit. My idea is to get something under 20' due to our local ordinances. The plan is to park it in the back yard and use it as a guest house, as my place is small, but I'd be the guest!
juel, what breed(s) do/did you show? I do only national specialties, now, but did all-breed shows for 7-8 years.
